Booking Confirmation

To confirm your booking with Nomad Adventures, a minimum 50% deposit is required at the time of reservation. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the scheduled tour date. Online bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Bookings within 48 hours may be subject to availability and confirmation. We accept payments via credit card, bank transfer, or PayPal. All payments are in South African Rand (ZAR). Transaction fees may apply depending on the chosen payment method.

Our Commitment to Safety

All tour guides and drivers are fully certified by the National Department of Tourism. For smaller groups, your guide may also be your driver, holding both certifications and public driving permits. We partner with only the most reputable suppliers for our Cape Town tour vehicles. All vehicles have passenger liability insurance, relevant permits, and a first aid kit on board.

Itinerary & Changes

Tours are subject to weather conditions, natural events, or road closures. In these cases, we will make every effort to offer alternative arrangements of equal value or reschedule the tour. Nomad Adventures is not responsible for lost or damaged personal property during any tour or activity.

Cancellation & Refunds

If Nomad Adventures must cancel a booking, the client will receive a full refund. If part of a tour is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control, a full refund for that activity or an alternative of equal value will be offered.
  • More than 14 days prior: 10% cancellation fee
  • 7–14 days prior: 50% cancellation fee
  • Less than 7 days prior: 100% cancellation fee

Travel Insurance & Health

All travelers must have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and lost baggage. Travelers must disclose pre-existing medical conditions and adhere to any vaccination requirements. All travelers must follow Nomad Adventures’ safety protocols. Non-compliance may result in removal from the tour without refund.

Code of Conduct

Travelers must act respectfully toward guides, fellow participants, and local communities. Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund. We promote sustainable tourism. Travelers are expected to minimize environmental impact and respect local ecosystems.

Additional Services

Nomad Adventures can assist with booking accommodation, dining, and extra activities in Cape Town and the Western Cape. These bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective establishments. We collect personal information for booking, communication, and travel planning purposes. All data is stored securely and processed in line with South African data protection laws.

Governing Law & Amendments

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts. Nomad Adventures reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates apply to bookings made after the amendment date.
